I was invited to a Moet&Chandon tasting event in Harrods. I decide to go, why not? I like..., no, I love champagne! champagne is my favourite drink. Whenever I'm at lunch with my friends or clubbing I choose champagne. My favourite is Laurent-Perrier (prefer Rose), Moet&Chandon (prefer 1992), Louis Roederer Cristal (prefer 2000). If there is no champagne for example, I'll choose still water. For some reason I don't enjoy wine or cocktails etc, if you don't enjoy something why waste and force yourself. Simple.
"I drink champagne when I'm happy and when I'm sad," said Madame Bollinger, one of the grandes dames of champagne. "Sometimes I drink it when I'm alone. When I have company, I consider it obligatory. I trifle with it if I'm not hungry and drink it when I am. Otherwise, I never touch it - unless I'm thirsty."
And I totally agreed with Madame.
BTW this is what we taste. Price £65 000 (100 000$) (case of six) so, are you more interested now??? ;)
